The cover of Goners is by the incredible Latvian photographer, Katrina Kepule, from her series Sit Silently. I came across the photo online, and felt an instant connection to it. I am writing from the very lovely town of Biarritz, on the Basque Coast in France. Jet lag had me up early enough to watch a group of pink-capped elderly ladies swimming laps in the (still very cold) ocean. My spring solo Europe tour begins tonight!

Hello from the road!

I am writing from a breakfast nook in Lausanne, Switzerland. Today we begin the German portion of our Fall tour (full dates below), just over halfway through our travels. I am having such a good time with the band (Sean Ogilvie, Lauren Jacobson, Mike Kitson), and the audiences have been some of the sweetest ever.
